Thanks for your commnet on my Shakespeare post. I responded to it there. We've been thinking about Baclofen for our kids, and have been reluctant. Now that i know it's elixir of the gods, i think i have changed my mind. I want it for ME ME ME
Heh. I recommend it. Actually, I don't, necessarily, but it's working for me at the moment.
My pain levels had increased massively and so had my stiffness, and it's been amazing, miraculous.
As my housemate said, "It's almost like it's an anti-spasticity drug and you're spastic."
Well, yeah.
I took it before when I was, like, eleven and I don't remember much about it except getting the dosage right was tricky. It makes the bits of you that aren't stiff floppy and that can be as complicated as being too stiff.
I'm getting away without side effects for once, which is nice.
Different things work for different people at different times, y'know. There ain't a lot of rhyme or reason to it, despite what the doctors like to tell you.
Baclofen is so good! Some drowsiness, although could be from Lyrica, which I stopped today due to my new Fred Flintstone feet (Side effect from Lyrica - needed Ultrasound to rule out DVT - clots in leg). Okay for pain after short buildup period, but after that period I started getting MOST of the listed side effects of Lyrica - including the ER visit with the swollen feet). I had spinal surgery and now suffer SEVERE back spasms. (I'm worse off after surgery). I now have MORE nerve pain - so hence the Lyrica - and really bad spasms when I stand for short periods or lay in one position and Baclofen is a God send. Who want can read about baclofen here

Good! That means you didn't turn the oven on, and I can continue to read your blog (selfish, I know).
The oven proved to be inaccessible.
It's supposed to be good for hiccups as well. Do Gods get hiccups, I wonder?
Spasticity, hiccups and cocaine addiction. I think the gods have all three, quite frankly.
