Believe it or not, it's so we can see better even in the water
But why do you need to be able to see well in the water? I wear glasses. I am very short-sighted. I have never felt the need to wear my glasses in water. Ever. Please tell me. I'm losing sleep.
I would say it would be due to the fear of not being able to see. I used to wear glasses and I was petrified of not seeing so I used to do silly things. when I got contact lenses I wore them more than I was supposed to as I did not want to be without vision. I then had my eyes lasered and have 100% vision. I can still remember the feeling of not having sight.
