Katie, well blogged, well said. Educating these people subtly would have no effect; a 'blast up the arse' from an Employment Tribunal would do the trick, but the stress it would cause you isn't worth it (I know I have done it) - so I seriously suggest you print off your blog, add a few more from other blogger's pages today, and post them by recorded delivery to those people (so they have to sign for receipt, with a copy to their organisation's CEO or MD.
"It's about me being far too used to swallowing very hard and moving on" To me, that sums the whole thing up. More than anything else I've read. Might have to blogroll you for it...
Fear not. I will soon return to my normal blogging-about-nothing-at-all-in-order-to-undermine-the-principle-of-blogging experiment. But it was Blogging Against Disablism Day. I couldn't help it.
Thanks Goldfish and Lady B for organising it so brilliantly.

Wow. That was brilliant. :-)
I think this is my favorite BADD post so far--and I've been trying to read them all! Thanks, Katie. Keep telling the truth.
Hi Katie. What an unusual blog. And I love your comments for today as well.
Brilliant.
Why can't I be that concise? Why?
Wow, this is really powerful stuff. And the rest of your blog looks interesting too. I'm sure I'll be back to see what comes next!
